Availability calendar
Our server retrieves an iCal calendar provided by Airbnb for the availability calendar. Only the beginning and end of occupied periods are published. Names, contact details and other booking information are not displayed on the website.
Merely viewing the calendar does not establish a direct connection from your browser to Airbnb, and no visitor data is transferred to Airbnb as a result. The legal basis for providing current availability information is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to give prospective guests a reliable overview of available dates.
05
Booking and staying through Airbnb
A binding reservation and payment can only be made through Airbnb. Airbnb processes the data collected on its platform under its own data protection responsibility. When a booking is made, Airbnb provides us with the information required to manage the reservation and provide the stay. This may include names, contact, travel and booking details, messages and billing information.
We process this data to take steps prior to and perform the accommodation contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), to meet legal obligations, particularly tax and registration requirements (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR), and to pursue or defend legal claims (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

External links
This website links to Airbnb, Bayregio and providers of leisure, padel and golf activities. A connection to these third parties is only established when you select the relevant link. From that point onwards, the privacy terms of the third-party provider apply. We have no control over the nature or extent of their processing.
07
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your email address, the content of your message and the associated communication data. For enquiries about a prospective or existing reservation, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to respond to your enquiry appropriately.
The email inbox is provided through Gmail. When an email is sent, the necessary communication data is therefore also processed by Google. For information on how Google processes data, please see the Google Privacy Policy ↗.
08
Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as required for its respective purpose. Enquiries are deleted once they have been fully answered, unless a booking follows or statutory retention duties or legitimate interests require continued storage. Booking and billing data is retained for the applicable statutory periods. Technical log data is deleted or anonymised in accordance with the hosting service's deletion and retention rules once it is no longer required for operation and security.
09
Your data protection rights
Subject to the applicable statutory requirements, you have the right to:
- obtain information about the personal data processed about you,
- have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed,
- request deletion or restriction of processing,
- data portability where the relevant conditions are met,
- object to processing based on legitimate interests.
